Passing within the Shape – English Program After teaching literacy skills – letter names, letter sounds, and the word of the day in the opening circle – the material taught is then integrated into a game teaching a football skill. In this video, the football skill “passing” is being taught as the player passes to another player between the English letters/word in a specific shape (triangle, square, etc). In the second group of players featured in this video, the letters “S”, “I”, and “T” are being integrated in the game spelling the word “SIT”. The players are passing within the shape of a triangle. Lessons pertaining to geometry can be taught as an extension to this lesson. #reading #letters #alphabet #language #english #englisesson #englishlessonsforkids #literacy#geometry #math #shape #football #soccer #passing #educationforall #educationalequity #literacyforall #educationthroughplay #notforprofit #nonprofit #teachingstandardarabic #informaleducation #overcrowdedclassrooms #physicalhealth #mentalhealth #sport #teachingwithoutaclassroom #teachingoutsidetheclassroom Post navigation Previous PostConversational Word and Question of the Day in EnglishNext PostShooting from the Letter and Word – English Program
