At Reading on the Pitch (ROTP), we use football/soccer as Sport for Protection. We provide safe spaces for children to play, education without the need of a classroom, and trauma healing practices through breathing exercises and play, all on the pitch. Our unique program combines the joy of football with teaching reading and conversation, alongside trauma-informed practices, empowering refugee and underserved children with the tools necessary to take agency over their own lives. 

Your donation goes a long way! It will cover (1) the cost of renting a safe space for our players to play (2) renting a microbus to get them there (3) balls for them to play with (4) shoes for them to play with (5) pinnies/bibs for them to wear (6) laundry services to keep their shirts clean…and the list goes on.
