Reading on the Pitch would like to thank Bashar Ahmed who has completed the 6 week ROTP program!!!

In Athens, Greece, Bashar Ahmed brought his love of the game and positive attitude to the Pitch every day. His strong English conversational skills strengthened the ROTP program and his daily participation in the ROTP matches were an area where he successfully improved the skills of the participants through one-on-one engagement.

Bashar grew up in Gaza, Palestine. He began playing in the streets of his city, Khan Yunis, at the age of 7. He played Forward with the Youth Center of Khan Yunis and Defense with the Youth Sports Center of Paris. Bashar aspires to play professional football in his future, and with his strong personal drive and intrinsic motivation, ROTP is confident he will.
